Stella is probably the one understanding me most. My feelings and thoughts behind every shot. Why I took the shot and most of the time why I didn't. Stella and I have quite an interesting journey ahead. Between us, the passion drives the desire and vice versa.

9th June 2013 Brunei - Black Lake

9th June 2013

Today is quite an amazing day, things just happened when the time comes. A question whispered, an answer popped and the next thing we know, we are on our way to the black lake. Been hearing its name for quite some time but never really scheduled when we would visit.

I presume the place was a lot more beautiful when most of the plants were not dead. It is a shame such a beautiful place is now tainted. Not that badly but still. All roses will wilt one day. All woman will grow old and wrinkle one day. The looks is there but it is the heart that matters. As they say, process is more important than result. I believe both are important. You can't always concentrate on the process part ignoring the tangible result.

Thank you Stella.

2nd June 2013 Brunei - Trees by Kompleks Kerajaan

Resources are limited. But if we used it sustainably, we can survive.

Am i alone?

Direction

A detour on a weekend to put these trees into pixels. A revisit is on my note.

16th - 23rd May 2013 China - Xi'an (Part 4)

Last part of my Xi'an travel.

Two of All

Mother & Child

Taken outside Xi'an's Great Mosque

Look On

I think she saw me but I wasn't sure if she was aware.

Saying goodbye

Little girl chasing after the bus to say goodbye to her friend.

A candid shot while riding the trishaw.

Perhaps she saw a friend. Perhaps just something which interests her.

Her eyes are incredibly powerful.

Met her twice on my last day in Xi'an. Trishaw is always a better choice than taxi (not taking cost into consideration). A closer interaction with people and you get to see certain parts unreachable by taxi.

On the way home, cruising through the wind.

When I was in Bangkok, I experienced the first time of extreme disappointment in missing a shot. I know I couldn't have done anything back then to get that perfect shot but still somehow there is something inside me that couldn't let go of it. I have to move on. Be better prepared next time round.

Goodbye Bangkok. Reality, here I come.

Just the two of us

They captured my eyes from a distance.

Rabbit.. ears..

She is lovely. I scared the hell out of her once.

Could i...

A young couple with expressions i think are spontaneous and interesting. Innocence.

While waiting..

Works at a restaurant i suppose. She permeates an atmosphere of 20 years ago.

Connection between hearts

This is one of the most amazing moment I witnessed in China. When the time comes, everyone's soul is adrift relaxing both the soul and mind. Simply beautiful.

In a different space yet reality will awake you eventually

There he is pouring water to support the trees and plants yet nature is taken up slowly by the ever intruding construction. Good luck i'll say but don't give up. Perhaps there is a slight chance.

In life, this is what is real. When you get showered, most people will watch. Sometimes you feel helpless but life will get you through. Be strong. Lets not just get showered, lets find us a thunderstorm.

Coffee while you wait?

Shake my hands and you shall be spared

A perfect couple. Which is why everything else is black and white. Because that is how i see them.

16th - 23rd May 2013 China - Xi'an (Part 1)

My trip to Xi'an was a pleasant one. It opened new doors to me permitting me a peek through a window to a different world. It fascinates me really. One world yet so many different worlds within worlds. I have separated the photos into 4 parts. I hope you enjoy as much as I do. I am sure Stella did.

The plane was chasing the sunset while I captured these fire birds. The birds are above a world but there is yet another world above. One can only wonder how many worlds are above. And how many more below.

A night view from the top of the highest hotel in Bangkok. Baiyoke Sky Hotel.

A morning view.

The endless street.

Arrived in Xi'an. Like how they placed the flower decor in the lobby.

Life can be so simple.

Tiny steps.

Stars above. Stars below.

Shooting stars.

 In space, through stars.

Standing guard watching over.

Bold.
